I've maintained my private web site and email accounts on Lizard Hill for several years. I've never experienced problems, and have always received fast, courteous response to questions whenever I've asked. There have been only very brief outages due to DDS attacks, which LH has responded quickly to overcome. In each instance, they've strengthened their barriers, and just recently installed new, much faster servers and stronger software to defeat attacks. They've earned a solid "10" from me in all areas. They're a pleasure to work with as solid, reliable hosts.
My site is always down and unable to load. Lizard Hill continuously asserts that this is due to cyber attacks on their servers. Cyber attacks or not, they should have contingency plans to handle those situations and for that reason, I'm out.
It's unfortunate that the customer had a bad experience, most of our customers are very happy with the service. Attacks seem to come in waves, perhaps it was just bad timing. Everyone is susceptible to DDoS style attacks, not just us. Any time there is an issue we always offer credits.
