You have to created a ticket for everything and they are incredibly unhelpful. When I tried chat, the modal was broken, broken links on their site. Finally got support and they said I had to create a ticket to cancel email services, it would take 1-2 days. Horrible.
Every time I log into Brinkster e mail, I hold my breath. Hardly a day goes by that at some point in the day, I can't access it for hours. I get an "unknown error" message. While I'm at it, when there has been a billing error (expired credit card for example) rather than send me an email to say there is a problem, they lock me out of my e mail with no explanation. So I'm not a happy camper.
I am using brinkster from some duration. Everything is just excellent I never had any complaints from them since I am with them overall great performance. Their are some other providers like domainracer and bigrock who provides value for money.
As you can see many peoples sites etc. were breached and corrupt. I had proved to them and demanded the log files and it showed it was not on my side. There are big issues with their platform. When the new company bought them they started mystery charges and attempted to bill me for emails and hosting yearly instead of monthly. They also added mystery charges to my email accounts. It is near impossible to get support and I have had days of down time while they "update" their Zimbra or some virtual or router. Outrageous. I have been with them an very long time and used to have a great experience when Jared was in charge. I will not use them any longer and have left their platform for something more stable.
Brinkster has eleimated live telephone support and relies on email and chat. They don't resolve issues. If they provided the service that is being paid for, there would be no reason to become upset. Their webmail constantly times out even while in the middle of responding to a request for information.
Issue is constant on computers at different locations so it doesn't appear to be an environment issue. Brinksters response has not been timely or resulting in t a fix.
Find another service, they don't provide good service and charge you to ignore you.
We\'re heartbroken...... Brinkster customer since 6/11/06 with our main eTRAINmusic[dot]com url that now after 12years+ as of September Brinkster informs us it expired (years on auto-renew working great; no notice or warning-etc), and now some unresponsive-pirate claims ownership on etrainmusic.com with a weird static furniture site currently up, plus they don\'t reply to us contacting their (BS) \"firstname.lastname@example.org\" email they/whoever created for it. Brinkster hasn\'t helped at all... Furious and appreciate anyone\'s help - advice on a better hosting service? We\'re quite simple, just 2 url\'s & 2 emails so thank you for any insight / guidance..
Separately, anyone experience or familiar with url-pirates like this situation?
Worst company in the world, their billing service only work 4hours a day and not everyday, They cant charge international cards, their support team seem very frustrated with their jobs. The platform does not work. You have to chat to view or edit ur dns records.
The only reason they are getting a 2, is because hostadvice insist i put a score, else it would have been a 0
Services are down now and then, with very bad support, once I had 3 days (THREE DAYS!!!) with no services at all, with no answer or solution. Also, it's very expensive. Don't contract this at all. They cut off the hosting without a previous notification.
